Czech engineering plants run CNC machining, metalworking and automotive component production, largely in Moravia and around Plzeň and Brno. Operator roles involve loading parts, running proven programmes, checking dimensions with gauges and callipers, and reporting tool wear. Setting and programming is a higher grade you can progress into with time.

Day-to-Day Duties

Loading and unloading parts on CNC machining centres or lathes
Running proven programmes and monitoring the cutting process
Measuring finished parts with callipers, micrometers and gauges
Reporting tool wear and requesting changes
Recording production counts and quality results

Eligibility & Requirements

2+ years machine or CNC operating experience
Able to read basic technical drawings
Clean police record certificate
Age 21–45

Do I need to programme CNC machines?

Not for operator roles — you run existing programmes. Programming and setting is a higher-paid progression step.

What measuring skills are needed?

Confident use of callipers and micrometers, and the ability to read a basic technical drawing with tolerances.

The employee-card route runs through programme quotas and consular appointments, so plan 2 to 4 months overall.
