Hire Indian Warehouse & Logistics Workers
Poland is Europe’s fulfilment floor and more than 225,000 of its warehouse workers are already foreign nationals — Indian crews for the picking, packing and forklift roles that cannot be filled locally.
Europe’s Fulfilment Hub, Chronically Understaffed
Warehousing is the sector where Poland’s labour shortage bites hardest. The distribution corridors around Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław and Łódź serve e-commerce and manufacturing across the continent, and they run three shifts. More than 225,000 warehouse workers in Poland are already foreign nationals, with India now among the fastest-growing source countries after Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia.
These sites suit Indian crews unusually well: the large operators run English-language warehouse-management systems, scanner workflows are universal, and shift discipline is what Gulf and Indian 3PL experience teaches. Forklift roles need the Polish UDT operator licence, which we build into the deployment plan rather than leaving to chance.
Roles We Deploy
Why Polish Logistics Operators Recruit From India
- Large sites already operate in English, so Indian crews are productive from their first shift
- Scanner and WMS experience transfers directly from Gulf and Indian distribution centres
- Three-shift rotations are accepted at selection, not discovered after arrival
- UDT forklift certification planned into the first weeks, so operators are licensed on schedule
- Batch deployment of ten to thirty lets a site prove the model, then scale in the next quarter
From Requirement to First Shift
Headcount by role, shift model, and which positions need the UDT licence — this changes the arrival plan.
Digital application through praca.gov.pl with the job offer and the candidate dossiers we prepare.
Experience and forklift records checked, video interviews with your operations managers.
UDT training booked in the first weeks (PLN 700–1,500 per operator), safety induction, then supervised shifts.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Warehouse pay in 2026 runs roughly PLN 4,500–6,000 gross per month for pickers and packers, PLN 5,200–6,800 for certified forklift and reach-truck operators, with night, weekend and productivity bonuses on top. Employers commonly provide or subsidise accommodation near the park.
One to three months from permit filing to first shift; UDT certification adds one to two weeks after arrival, during which operators work in picking or loading roles.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Is an Indian forklift licence valid in Poland?
No. Operators need the Polish UDT licence, a short course costing roughly PLN 700–1,500. Indian experience shortens the training but does not replace the certificate — we build the course into the first weeks.
Do warehouse workers need Polish?
English is sufficient on the large international sites. Smaller regional warehouses may expect basic Polish; we flag that at scoping and prepare candidates accordingly.
Can you supply for peak season?
Peak staffing needs permits filed months ahead — the type-A route takes four to eight weeks before the visa stage. Operators who plan in Q2 for Q4 peak get crews; those who call in October do not.
What about cold-store roles?
Supplied, with conditions and clothing disclosed at selection. Candidates who accept cold-chain work knowing exactly what it involves are the ones who stay through the contract.
