Hire Indian CNC Machinists & Setters
Polish machining shops supplying automotive, aerospace, agricultural machinery and tooling customers cannot find enough people who can set, prove out and run CNC machines. We recruit Indian turners and millers and test them on your parts.
Spindles Standing Idle for Lack of Setters
Plenty of Polish subcontract machining shops have newer machines than people to run them. Automotive and aerospace work, agricultural and construction equipment, hydraulics and toolmaking all depend on CNC turning and milling. Of all the roles involved, setters who can load a program, touch off tools, run the first-off inspection and adjust offsets are the hardest to replace.
India has a deep pool of CNC talent, trained in ITI machinist and turner trades and toolroom programmes, then hardened in automotive supply chains. Most candidates have worked on Fanuc or Siemens controls and with metric drawings and ISO tolerancing, the same toolkit Polish shops use. We test on your machine type and a representative part, so a shortlisted operator has already shown what they can do.
Roles We Deploy
Why Polish Machining Shops Recruit From India
- Fanuc and Siemens controls dominate Indian shops, so operators already know the controls your machines use
- Metric drawings and ISO tolerances are standard in Indian automotive supply, so drawings need no translation
- Each candidate proves a part on a comparable machine in India before you spend interview time
- Setters and operators can be recruited together, so a new shift has someone qualified to approve first-offs
- Multi-year contracts keep scarce setter skills in your shop instead of losing them each season
From Part Drawing to Running Spindle
Machine types, control systems, typical materials and tolerances, and a drawing we can use as the test piece.
Candidates set up and run the test part on a comparable machine. Dimensions are measured and recorded on video for your production lead.
The permit file goes to the voivodeship office via praca.gov.pl while interviews run, then the national D visa and emigration clearance.
Safety induction, your quality procedures and a supervised period before operators are signed off to run unattended.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Indicative 2026 bands: CNC operators around PLN 5,200โ6,800 gross per month, setters and 5-axis machinists PLN 6,500โ8,500, and programmers higher depending on the CAM work involved. Shift premiums apply on two- and three-shift shops, and many employers arrange shared housing.
From a clean employer file to the first shift usually takes one to three months. Shops with an established permit file see repeat orders move faster.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Can you test on our specific control and machine?
We test on the closest comparable machine and control available to us in India, using your drawing. If you run something unusual, tell us at scoping so we can source candidates who have used it.
Are Indian machinists used to metric drawings?
Yes. Indian manufacturing works in metric units with ISO tolerancing, so your drawings carry over without conversion. We do check that candidates can read your symbols and title-block conventions.
Do CNC operators need a Polish certificate?
Poland has no single mandatory licence for CNC operators of the kind required for forklifts or electrical work. Your own sign-off procedure is what counts, and we design our testing around it.
