Hire Indian Construction Workers for Poland
Poland is short an estimated 200,000 skilled construction workers — we supply trade-tested Indian crews of ten to two hundred under the type-A permit route, on site in one to three months.
The Biggest Single Trade Gap in Poland
Construction is Poland’s deepest shortage. Bricklayers, roofers, concrete workers, carpenters, plumbers and electricians are classified as deficit occupations in the majority of the country’s sixteen voivodeships, and the sector has carried one of the highest unfilled-vacancy rates through 2025 and into 2026. Ukrainian labour, which filled much of the gap for a decade, is no longer sufficient on its own.
Indian construction trades fit Polish sites well: ITI and NSDC certification, Gulf mega-project experience at scale, and crews that arrive as units with their own foreman. Since 1 June 2025 there is no labour-market test to clear, so the type-A permit turns on the quality of the employer file rather than on proving a Pole was unavailable.
Roles We Deploy
Why Polish Contractors Recruit From India
- Certified trades at volume — India’s ITI and NSDC systems produce more structural tradespeople than any other source market
- Gulf mega-project experience means crews already work to programme, safety and quality regimes larger than most Polish sites
- Crews deploy as units with their own foreman, so your existing supervision is not stretched thin
- No labour-market test since June 2025 — permits now turn on a clean employer file, which is what we prepare for
- Documented, auditable recruitment through India’s eMigrate system, which matters for public-contract and EU-funded work
From Requirement to Polish Site
Trades, crew size and wage; we confirm your company has no tax or ZUS arrears, since those are now explicit grounds for refusal.
The voivodeship application is filed digitally with the job offer and candidate documents we prepare; no starosta opinion is needed any more.
Practical tests in India on your specified trades, recorded on video; your site managers interview the shortlist in parallel with the permit.
National D visa at the Polish mission in India, Indian emigration clearance, then batches flown against your programme.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Market bands in 2026: general construction helpers roughly PLN 4,300–5,600 gross per month, skilled masons, carpenters and steel fixers PLN 5,000–6,800, foremen higher. Employers typically provide or arrange accommodation and transport to site.
One to three months from a clean employer file to crew on site: four to eight weeks for the permit, then two to four weeks for the D visa and travel. Repeat orders from an established file move faster.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Is the labour-market test still required in Poland?
No. The Act of 20 March 2025, in force since 1 June 2025, abolished it. Employers no longer need a starosta opinion showing no Polish candidate was available.
How large a construction crew can you deploy?
Crews of ten to two hundred, phased against your programme and the mission’s visa appointment capacity. First deployments of twenty to fifty typically complete inside the one-to-three month window.
What can disqualify our permit application?
Outstanding tax or social-security arrears, a role below a quarter of full-time, or a start date more than twelve months after issuance. We check all three before filing.
Do workers need Polish?
Not for the visa. Crews work under Indian or English-speaking foremen; employers who fund basic Polish after arrival see better integration and retention.
