Hire Indian Food Processing Workers
Poland is one of Europe’s largest food exporters and its plants run on shift labour that is no longer available locally — Indian crews for meat, bakery, dairy and packaged-food lines.
Export Volumes Up, Line Staff Down
Polish food processing supplies supermarkets across Europe — poultry and meat, bakery, dairy, frozen and packaged goods. The work is cold, fast and shift-based, and domestic recruitment for it has been failing for years. Food producers report persistent shortages of bakers, butchers, packers and general factory workers across most voivodeships.
Indian candidates from food-manufacturing and commercial-kitchen backgrounds handle this work well, with HACCP familiarity that shortens hygiene onboarding. We disclose cold-chain and line-speed conditions at selection, because the single biggest cause of early exits in this sector is a worker discovering the conditions on arrival.
Roles We Deploy
Why Polish Food Producers Recruit From India
- HACCP and food-safety familiarity from Indian and Gulf food-manufacturing backgrounds
- Shift rotation and line speed accepted at selection, with conditions shown honestly before signing
- Cold-chain roles filled by candidates briefed on temperature, clothing and break patterns in advance
- Crews of twenty to a hundred phased against seasonal production peaks
- Retention through multi-year contracts rather than the seasonal churn that disrupts line quality
From Production Forecast to Staffed Line

Type-A application through praca.gov.pl in parallel with screening and video interviews.
D visa at the Polish mission, Indian emigration clearance, batch travel booking.

Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Food-processing pay in 2026 runs roughly PLN 4,200–5,500 gross per month for line operatives, PLN 5,000–6,200 for skilled butchers and bakers, with night and weekend supplements. Accommodation is very commonly employer-arranged in this sector.
One to three months from a clean employer file to the line, with larger seasonal intakes phased over several weeks.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Are cold-store conditions a problem for Indian candidates?
They are disclosed and screened for. Candidates see the temperature range, clothing and break pattern before they accept. Those who take the role on that basis complete their contracts.
What hygiene training is needed?
Polish food-safety and sanitary requirements including a health certificate (książeczka sanepidowska) where the role requires it. We brief candidates pre-departure; the formal instruction happens on arrival.
Can you supply for seasonal peaks?
Yes, but permits take four to eight weeks before the visa stage, so seasonal intakes must be planned at least a quarter ahead. We advise clients on filing dates at scoping.
