Hire Indian Electricians for Poland

Electricians sit on Poland’s deficit-occupation lists in most voivodeships. We recruit ITI-trained installers who are screened on the trade test first and then taken through the Polish SEP qualification once they arrive.

Wiring Work Waits While the Trade Ages Out

Electrical installation runs through almost every project a Polish contractor takes on. New housing, warehouses, retrofits for heat pumps and photovoltaics, grid connections, factory fit-outs: each one needs installers. Meanwhile many of the country’s qualified electricians are close to retirement and few apprentices are coming in behind them. Electrical contractors say they turn work down because they cannot crew it.

India trains electricians in large numbers through its ITI network, and many candidates have spent years on Gulf commercial and industrial projects working to IEC-based standards. Poland, though, requires its own qualification certificate (świadectwo kwalifikacyjne, usually called the SEP licence) before a worker can operate or maintain electrical installations on their own. We recruit for that path openly. Candidates start under a Polish-qualified supervisor and sit the exam once their technical Polish and their knowledge of local regulations are good enough.

Why Polish Electrical Contractors Recruit From India

  • ITI electrician training gives a documented, standardised base that can be checked before selection
  • Gulf commercial and industrial jobs give candidates experience with IEC-based practice and large installations
  • We are upfront about the SEP qualification, so nobody arrives expecting to sign off work on day one
  • Crews can split between licensed-supervisor tasks and containment or cable work while certification progresses
  • Multi-year contracts keep the cost of SEP preparation inside your company instead of with a competitor

From Installation Scope to Energised Circuit

1
Define the electrical scope

Installation types, voltage levels and which tasks need a SEP holder. We use this to separate supervised roles from those you will want certified later.

2
Practical testing in India

Wiring, termination, testing and drawing-reading tasks set to your scope, filmed and scored, then a video interview with your technical lead.

3
Type-A permit and D visa

We prepare the permit file for submission through praca.gov.pl while selection runs. The national visa at the Polish mission follows once the permit is issued.

4
Supervised start and SEP preparation

Workers begin under a Polish-qualified electrician. Study for the certificate exam starts in the first months, alongside technical Polish.

Pay, Conditions & Timeline

Indicative 2026 bands: electrician’s mates around PLN 5,000–5,800 gross per month, experienced installers PLN 5,800–7,500, and SEP-certified or industrial electricians at the top of that band and above. Contractors usually arrange housing and transport to site.

Arrival usually follows one to three months after a complete, arrears-free permit file. Getting the SEP certificate takes longer and depends on the individual. Plan for supervised work during the first months instead of assuming independent sign-off.

Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.

Employer FAQs

Can an Indian electrician work in Poland without the SEP certificate?

They can do installation work under the supervision of a qualified person. Independent operation, maintenance or supervision of installations requires the Polish qualification certificate in the relevant group. We plan for that rather than promise around it.

Is the SEP exam taken in Polish?

The exam is administered by Polish examination committees, so candidates need working technical Polish and a grasp of Polish regulations. That is why we treat certification as a goal for the first months, not a condition of arrival.

Do you supply solar PV installers?

Yes, as part of electrical crews. Mounting and DC cabling crews can work under a certified electrician who takes responsibility for the connection.

How do you test electrical competence in India?

With practical tasks matched to your scope: wiring a distribution board, terminations, insulation and continuity testing, and reading your drawings. Results and video are shared before you interview.
