24 Care Assistants Trained to B1 German and Deployed to a Care Group
The Challenge
A care-home group operating across two German states could not fill assistant positions at any of its eleven homes. Registered-nurse recruitment from India would have taken eighteen to twenty-four months — far beyond what the rosters could absorb.
Our Approach
We proposed the assistant route instead: candidates with GNM, ANM and hospital-attendant backgrounds, matched to the states’ assistant frameworks, with employer-funded B1 German delivered in India alongside care vocabulary. Recognition dossiers and the accelerated visa procedure ran in parallel with the final months of language training.
The Results
- 24 care assistants on the wards within thirteen months of selection
- All 24 certified at B1 before departure through Goethe and telc examinations
- Eleven homes staffed from one coordinated cohort rather than individual hires
- Nine assistants progressed into full nursing recognition in the following year
