Employers hire by cuisine — Indian, continental, Arabic or pan-Asian — and typically run a live cooking trial by video on a signature dish before selecting.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Preparing mise en place for your section before service
- Cooking to standardised recipes and plating specifications
- Maintaining HACCP food-safety records and temperature logs
- Managing section stock, rotation and wastage control
- Working the pass under the chef de partie during service

Eligibility & Requirements
- 2+ years kitchen experience in the cuisine applied for
- Live cooking trial may be required
- Food-safety awareness
- Age 21–40
