Commercial cleaning in the UAE is dominated by facilities-management companies servicing office towers, malls and residential buildings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Work is zone-based and shift-based, with training on equipment and chemicals provided after arrival. Building access rules are strict — you work to a pass and a schedule.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Cleaning assigned floors, lobbies, washrooms and common areas
- Operating floor scrubbers, vacuums and glass-cleaning equipment
- Restocking consumables and reporting shortages to the supervisor
- Following chemical dilution and safety-sign procedures
- Working around building access hours in occupied towers

- No formal experience required — training provided
- Physically fit
- GAMCA medical clearance
- Age 20–45

Is experience needed?

External facade work is a separate specialist role. Standard cleaners work internally; any at-height work requires additional training.
How many days off?
One day off per week is standard under UAE labour law, with the specific day set by the contract roster.
