The Work in UAE

Forklift roles sit in Jebel Ali, Dubai South and Abu Dhabi logistics parks, moving palletised goods between racking, staging and loading bays. UAE employers require a locally recognised operator licence — your Indian licence and experience support the application, but you will complete local certification and a practical assessment after arrival.

Day-to-Day Duties

Loading and unloading containers and trucks at the dock
Putaway and retrieval from racking using counterbalance or reach trucks
Pre-shift equipment checks and battery or fuel management
Scanning stock movements into the warehouse system
Working to pick schedules during dispatch peaks

Who hires for this role: Third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders and distribution centres in the free zones.

Eligibility & Requirements

2+ years forklift operating experience
Valid forklift licence
GAMCA medical clearance
Age 22–45

Is this shift work?

Yes — distribution centres run multiple shifts, and peak-season overtime is common and paid per contract.
