Day-to-Day Duties

Servicing a set number of rooms per shift to the property checklist
Changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities
Reporting maintenance faults and lost property through the supervisor
Deep-cleaning public areas, corridors and back-of-house on rotation
Handling higher room turnover during Hajj, Umrah and Ramadan peaks

Who hires for this role: Hotel groups and hospitality operators, including large properties serving pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.

Eligibility & Requirements

1+ years housekeeping experience preferred
Basic English
GAMCA medical clearance
Age 21–40

How many rooms will I clean per shift?

Typically 12 to 16 rooms in an eight-hour shift, though pilgrimage-season properties run higher with additional staff on duty.

Is English required?

Basic English helps with supervisors and guests. Full fluency is not expected for housekeeping roles.
