The Work in Qatar
Material handling roles in Qatar support construction sites, warehouses and port logistics. The work is physical and team-based: cargo handling, container stripping and stuffing, and moving material around sites. No experience is required, and employers provide manual-handling and safety training on arrival.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers by hand and with equipment
- Sorting, stacking and palletising goods in the yard or warehouse
- Assisting riggers and crane operators with slinging and guiding loads
- Keeping storage areas organised and access routes clear
- Following manual-handling and PPE requirements at all times

- No formal experience required
- Physically fit for heavy lifting
- GAMCA medical clearance
- Age 20–40
