The Work in Poland

Polish welding demand comes from steel-structure fabrication, machinery manufacturing and shipbuilding, concentrated around Wrocław, Katowice and Gdańsk. Employers work to EU standards (EN ISO 9606) and usually run a video trade test before selection, then re-certify you locally. MIG/MAG is the dominant process in fabrication shops; TIG is required for stainless and thin-wall work.

Day-to-Day Duties

MIG/MAG welding of steel structures, frames and assemblies
TIG welding on stainless and thinner sections where specified
Reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols
Grinding, fit-up and preparation before welding
Working to EN ISO procedure specifications with weld inspection

Eligibility & Requirements

3+ years MIG/TIG welding experience
Certification matched to EU standards (support provided)
Video trade test required
Age 23–45
