Hire Indian Gardeners & Landscape Builders
Landscape firms turn work away every spring for lack of crews — Indian horticulture and landscaping workers recruited for year-round contracts, with licence and certificate planning built in.
Order Books Full, Crews Short
German Garten- und Landschaftsbau firms build private gardens, public green spaces, sports grounds and the planted surroundings of new housing and commercial schemes. Demand has held up through construction slowdowns because maintenance contracts and climate-adaptation work keep coming, but the crews to deliver it have not kept pace.
Indian candidates with horticulture diplomas, nursery and estate experience, or landscaping work on Gulf hotel and public projects fit these crews well. Landscape gardening is not regulated for employees, so we file under the experience-based route and plan the German requirements that matter on site: driving licences, machinery instruction and the plant-protection certificate.
Roles We Deploy
Why GaLaBau Firms Recruit From India
- Gulf landscaping projects give many candidates experience of large planting, irrigation and paving programmes
- Year-round contracts suit candidates seeking residence rather than a season, which stabilises crews
- Winter work in maintenance, tree care and hardscape keeps a crew productive outside the planting season
- Practical tests in India on levelling, paving and planting show competence before you commit
- We map driving licence and certificate needs at scoping, so crews are not stranded at the yard
From Order Book to Planted Site
Roles, crew size, vehicle categories and whether anyone will apply plant-protection products are confirmed first.
Paving, levelling, planting and machinery tasks assessed and filmed for your site managers.
Relevant two-year qualification plus experience, contract at the GaLaBau agreement or FEG floor, BA pre-approval.
Site safety instruction, chainsaw and machinery courses, and German driving-licence tests scheduled early.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Skilled landscape gardeners under the GaLaBau collective agreement typically earn roughly €2,800–3,300 gross per month; groundskeepers and nursery staff somewhat less, team leads more. Where the employer is not bound by an agreement, the experience-route salary floor sets the minimum for the visa.
Allow roughly three to five months between the first brief and the crew arriving. Budget for German driving-licence tests, because an Indian licence only covers a limited period after moving, and for the plant-protection certificate where crews will spray.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Can we hire landscapers just for the spring and summer season?
We recruit for durable, year-round employment. The skilled-worker routes are built for it, and firms that keep crews through winter on maintenance and hardscape work hold on to them.
Can Indian crew members drive our vans and trailers?
For a limited period after taking up residence an Indian licence remains usable; after that a German licence is needed, with theory and practical tests. Trailer and heavier categories need their own tests. We plan this at scoping.
Who may apply pesticides on our sites?
Professional application of plant-protection products requires a certificate of expertise. Crew members can obtain it after arrival through an approved course, and until then work under a certified colleague.
Do landscapers need German?
A1–A2 is typical for crew members, with more for team leads who deal with clients. Language courses funded alongside work are the norm.
