Hire Indian IT Specialists
Germany’s Mittelstand needs developers, SAP consultants and infrastructure engineers it cannot find locally — Indian IT professionals hired on the EU Blue Card, with a relocation plan that lets them start productive.
Digitalisation Needs People, Not Just Budgets
Germany’s IT skills gap is not confined to software houses. Machine builders need embedded and automation developers, logistics firms need integration engineers, insurers and public bodies need cloud and security staff, and almost every mid-sized manufacturer runs SAP. India supplies a large share of the world’s IT workforce, much of it already working for European clients in English.
The EU Blue Card is the natural route: degree-holders qualify at the standard or reduced salary threshold, and experienced IT professionals can qualify without a degree if they meet the experience and salary conditions. No German is required for the visa, and where the standard threshold is met the Federal Employment Agency does not need to approve the job.

- Technical screening can run fully remotely, with take-home or live coding tasks you design
- SAP and automation profiles that are scarce in Germany are comparatively deep in the Indian market
From Job Spec to First Sprint
We check the offer against the current Blue Card thresholds and confirm whether the degree or experience variant applies.
CV verification, remote coding or case tasks and interviews with your engineering leads.
anabin status or ZAB statement for degrees, then the Blue Card visa appointment; the fast-track procedure where it helps.
Registration, housing search support and family planning so the first months go to the work, not paperwork.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Blue Card salaries must meet the annual threshold: for 2026 the standard figure is €50,700 gross, while IT specialists, recent graduates and shortage occupations qualify from €45,934.20. Market pay for experienced developers and SAP consultants is often above these figures, particularly in Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
Typically two to four months from offer to start, mainly visa appointment time. Employer costs are usually limited to the search fee, relocation support and any degree-evaluation fees; there is no language training budget needed for the visa.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Can an IT specialist without a degree get a Blue Card?
Yes, if they have at least three years of relevant professional experience within the last seven years and the salary meets the reduced threshold. Experience must be documented carefully.
Does the Federal Employment Agency need to approve the job?
Not when the salary reaches the standard Blue Card threshold. Below it, under the reduced threshold, BA consent is required, which is usually quick.
Do Indian IT hires need German?
Not for the Blue Card. B1 German shortens the path to permanent residence and helps socially, so many employers fund a course anyway.
Can the spouse work?
Yes. Spouses of Blue Card holders can join without a German test and may work without restriction.
