Hire Indian Warehouse & Logistics Workers for Russia
Marketplace fulfilment, retail distribution and cold storage run around the clock — Indian crews for picking, packing, loading and forklift work.
E-commerce Has Outgrown the Local Warehouse Workforce
Online marketplaces have reshaped Russian logistics. Fulfilment and sorting centres now ring Moscow and spread along the federal highways to every million-plus city, and they operate in shifts that run day and night. Retail distribution and cold-chain warehouses compete for the same people, and turnover in these roles is notoriously high.
Indian warehouse crews bring scanner-based picking and 3PL experience from India and the Gulf. Two Russian specifics shape planning: warehouse management screens are usually in Russian, which a short bilingual induction solves, and forklift work requires a Russian operator certificate for self-propelled machinery. We select experienced operators and plan that certificate after arrival instead of promising it in advance.
Roles We Deploy
Why Russian Logistics Operators Recruit From India
- Contracted crews do not walk out after a week the way day-labour pools often do
- Gulf and Indian 3PL experience means scanner workflows and shift targets are familiar
- Crews arrive in batches that match a new site opening or a seasonal peak
- Cold-store candidates are told the temperatures and shift length before they accept
- Workers live in employer-arranged housing near the site, which keeps late shifts staffed
From Headcount to Live Shift
Roles, shift model and wage per site — the permit names the region, so sites are confirmed first.
Your quota must list the warehouse professions and India; MVD permission and invitations follow.
Experience checks, scanner and stacking tests, and video interviews with your site manager.
Medical, fingerprinting and permit, then WMS training with a bilingual team leader and forklift certification where needed.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Indicative bands: pickers, packers and loaders roughly RUB 60,000–100,000 gross per month depending on region and shift, forklift and reach-truck operators higher. Moscow-region fulfilment centres sit at the top of the range.
Count on one to three months between an approved quota and live picking. Peak-season intakes for the autumn sales period are best planned before the start of the year.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Can Indian forklift drivers use their Indian licence?
No. Forklift operation in Russia needs a Russian operator certificate. We supply experienced operators and the employer arranges certification after arrival.
Is the WMS in Russian a problem?
Rarely. Picking screens are repetitive and pictorial; a short induction with a bilingual team leader covers it.
Do regional bans on migrants affect warehouses?
Most regional bans target patent holders in specific roles such as delivery or retail. Check your region’s list, but warehouse work under a quota permit is usually unaffected.
Can workers do courier delivery as well?
Delivery roles face restrictions in several regions and separate licence issues. We recommend keeping Indian crews on warehouse duties.
