Hire Indian Chefs & Hospitality Staff
Indian restaurants, hotel kitchens and resort housekeeping — authentic cooks and trained hotel staff for Russian operators.
Authentic Kitchens Need Authentic Cooks
Indian and pan-Asian restaurants have multiplied in Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan and the resort regions, and growing travel between India and Russia has raised expectations of authenticity. A tandoor, a biryani station or a South Indian breakfast menu is very hard to run without cooks trained in India — this is one hospitality role where Indian recruitment is the obvious answer.
Hotels and resorts recruit Indian housekeeping, kitchen and back-of-house staff for the same reason they do worldwide: Gulf five-star training and steady work habits. Guest-facing roles in Russia generally need conversational Russian, so we focus on kitchens and housekeeping and recommend Russian classes for staff who want to move front-of-house later.
Roles We Deploy
Why Russian Restaurants and Hotels Recruit From India
- Specialist Indian cooks are almost impossible to find locally at the standard guests expect
- Cooking tests in India — a tandoor, a gravy, a dessert — show skill before a quota place is used
- Gulf hotel experience gives housekeeping staff international brand standards
- Restaurant owners can build a full Indian kitchen brigade in one intake
- Contracts timed so resort staff arrive before the season starts, not halfway through it
From Menu to Working Kitchen
Cuisine, covers, stations and roles; for a new restaurant we help size the kitchen team.
Cook and housekeeping professions named in the quota for your region, with India as the source country.
Practical trials filmed and photographed; your chef or owner interviews by video.
Migration formalities, food-worker medical book and induction into your kitchen’s standards.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Indicative bands: specialist Indian chefs roughly RUB 80,000–150,000 gross per month depending on city and seniority, cooks and commis roughly RUB 55,000–90,000, housekeeping roughly RUB 45,000–75,000. Meals on duty and accommodation are common in offers.
A kitchen team typically lands one to three months after the quota decision. A well-paid head chef can sometimes come in on the HQS route instead, with no quota place needed.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Do cooks need to speak Russian?
Not in the kitchen. Kitchen communication is learned quickly; guest-facing roles are different and do need Russian.
Can a head chef come without a quota?
Possibly, under the highly qualified specialist route, if the salary meets the threshold set by law. We assess this case by case.
Can you staff a new Indian restaurant from scratch?
Yes — a full brigade with a head chef recruited first, so the menu is designed by the person who will run it.
Do kitchen staff need a medical book?
Yes — a sanitary medical book is mandatory for kitchen staff, and it is arranged in the first days together with the migration medical.
