Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Indicative bands: skilled technicians roughly RUB 100,000–200,000 gross per month on rotation, depending on region, coefficients and roster; supervisors higher. Camp accommodation, meals and travel to site are normally employer-provided.
Mobilisation typically comes one to three months behind quota approval. Planned turnarounds should start recruitment one quota cycle ahead; emergency work is usually staffed from crews already in Russia.

Do northern allowances apply to foreign workers?
Regional coefficients and northern allowances are set by law and their application to foreign staff should be confirmed with your payroll adviser. We build whatever applies into the offer.
Can Indian crews work rotation in Arctic conditions?
Yes, with proper kit, warm camps and honest briefing. Many have worked in Gulf heat; cold is a different hazard and needs training.
Can engineers skip the quota?
Yes, if their pay reaches the HQS threshold fixed in law; that route sits outside the quota system entirely.
Can you staff a turnaround at short notice?
Only if quota places and permissions are in place. We recommend securing them for planned shutdowns a year ahead.
