Hire Indian Workers in North Rhine-Westphalia
Germany’s most populous state is also its busiest logistics corridor — Indian crews for warehouses, metal plants, construction sites and care homes across the Rhine-Ruhr.
The Rhine-Ruhr Cannot Staff Its Own Supply Chain
North Rhine-Westphalia moves a large share of Germany’s freight and hosts the densest cluster of distribution centres in the country, from Duisburg’s inland port through the Cologne and Düsseldorf belts. Logistics carries a 60 percent shortage rate nationally and NRW feels it hardest; metal fabrication and construction compete for the same crews, and the state’s care sector has vacancies in every district.
For NRW employers we deploy warehouse and logistics crews under the experience-based route, construction trades against the building collective agreement with SOKA-BAU registration, and care staff through the recognition partnership. Batches arrive staged so shift leads can integrate them.
Roles We Deploy
Why NRW Employers Recruit From India
- Large sites already run on English-language WMS and process software, so Indian warehouse crews are productive in their first week
- The density of employers means wage benchmarking is straightforward and collective agreements are well defined
- Construction and logistics both face customs (FKS) inspection — our contracts are built to the applicable agreement from the start
- Housing costs outside Düsseldorf and Cologne city centres make employer-arranged accommodation affordable
- Gulf-experienced Indian supervisors bridge multinational crews, a practical advantage on mixed Rhine-Ruhr sites

Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Logistics pay in NRW runs from the statutory minimum of €13.90 per hour for entry roles to €15–18 for certified operators, with night and Sunday supplements. Construction follows the sector minimum above the national floor plus SOKA-BAU contributions; skilled trades roughly €2,900–3,600 gross per month.
One-time employer investment is typically €2,500–5,000 per worker. Crews reach site three to four months from scoping when pre-approval is used.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
How large a warehouse crew can you deploy to NRW?
Batches of ten to twenty per site are typical for a first deployment, scaling in the second quarter once the shift model is proven. Larger programmes are phased across visa appointment capacity.
Do you handle SOKA-BAU and construction compliance?
We scope every construction requirement against the sector collective agreement and flag the SOKA-BAU registration the employer must hold. The contract we prepare matches what inspectors check on site.
Is Duisburg or Cologne better for accommodation?
Outside the city cores, shared accommodation runs €350–500 per person. We ask every client to confirm housing before visas are filed — it is the most common cause of delayed arrivals.
