Hire Indian Construction Workers for Germany
Trade-tested crews of ten to forty — masons, formwork carpenters, steel fixers, tilers and scaffolders — recruited under the experience-based route and deployed in compliance with the construction collective agreement and SOKA-BAU.
Structural Trades for a Sector Short of Hands
Around a third of German construction firms report staffing gaps even in a cooler market, and Eastern European crews no longer fill them. Indian tradespeople with ITI or NSDC certification and Gulf mega-project experience are closely matched to German site expectations: large-scale, safety-driven and deadline-focused.
Construction is where German enforcement is strictest — customs inspects sites for pay and documentation. We scope every crew against the construction collective agreement and SOKA-BAU obligations before quoting, and our trade tests in India mirror German site requirements: drawings, working at height, PPE discipline.
Roles We Deploy
Why German Contractors Recruit Crews From India
- Certified trades at scale — India’s ITI/NSDC system produces more qualified structural tradespeople than any other source
- Mega-project experience from Saudi, UAE and Qatar sites with strict safety and productivity regimes
- Crew deployment in staged batches so supervisors integrate workers without disrupting programmes
- Long-term orientation: workers come for residence and family, cutting the churn of seasonal crews
- Compliance-first recruitment that stands up to customs inspection and public-contract audits
How a Construction Crew Is Deployed
Trades, numbers, start dates and the applicable collective wage grid; we confirm the FEG route per trade and flag any helper roles that need a different approach.
Practical tests in India recorded on video; your site managers interview shortlisted workers.
Experience-based route filings with BA pre-approval and the §81a accelerated procedure; sworn translations and eMigrate clearance handled by us.
Batches arrive against your programme; safety induction, ID-card registration and accommodation coordinated with your HR.
Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Construction has its own minimum wage above the national €13.90 floor and collectively agreed grades; skilled tradespeople earn roughly €2,900–3,600 gross per month in 2026 plus allowances. Employers register with SOKA-BAU for holiday-fund contributions.
One-time employer investment per worker is typically €3,000–5,000 including agency fee, translations, fast-track fee and travel. Crews are on site three to five months from scoping with pre-approval.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
Can we hire unskilled construction helpers from India?
The FEG routes require a qualification of at least two years plus experience, so helpers without certification are difficult to place. Most employers hire qualified tradespeople and train helpers locally.
Do Indian construction workers need German?
Not for the visa. Crews under English-speaking or Indian foremen work from day one; employers commonly fund A1–A2 after arrival for safety communication.
How are wages verified?
The BA checks the contract against the construction collective agreement at pre-approval; customs inspects records on site. We build both into the contract.
