Hire Indian Roofers & Scaffolders
Roofing and scaffolding carry the longest waiting lists in German construction — Indian crews with height experience, safety-trained before they arrive.
Roof Work Waits for Crews, Not Materials
German homeowners and building owners routinely wait months for roofing work, and solar installation has added a whole new demand stream on top of repair and re-roofing backlogs. Scaffolding — the trade that must arrive before anyone else can start — is just as short, which quietly delays every other trade behind it.
Roofing and scaffolding are physically demanding height trades where Indian crews with Gulf high-rise and industrial experience perform well. We test height competence, harness use and material handling in India, and brief every candidate on German fall-protection rules before departure, because safety culture here is enforced, not advisory.
Roles We Deploy
Why German Roofing Contractors Recruit From India
- Gulf high-rise and industrial experience means genuine comfort and competence at height, verified at trade test
- Solar mounting demand is additive — crews trained on substructure work serve both roofing and PV programmes
- Scaffolding crews arriving as units with their own foreman keep your existing supervisors on other sites
- Fall-protection and harness rules briefed before departure, then formally instructed by you on arrival
- Construction collective agreement and SOKA-BAU handled at scoping, so inspections hold up

Pay, Conditions & Timeline
Roofing and scaffolding earn roughly €2,900–3,700 gross per month under the construction agreements, with height and dirty-work allowances where the agreement provides them. Employer accident insurance is paid in full by the employer — significant in these trades.
Three to five months to site with pre-approval; one-time employer investment €3,000–5,000 per worker.
Figures are indicative market ranges and not a quotation; the signed service agreement governs. See our Terms & Conditions.
Employer FAQs
What height-safety training is required?
German law requires documented instruction in fall protection and PPE before work begins, repeated annually. We brief candidates pre-departure; the statutory instruction is delivered by you on arrival and recorded.
Can the same crew do solar mounting?
Yes, where the work is roof substructure and panel mounting. Electrical connection is a separate regulated activity requiring a qualified electrician — see our electricians page for that half of the job.
Is scaffolding a regulated trade?
Scaffolding erection requires competent, instructed personnel and supervision by a qualified supervisor. Crew members work under that supervision; we recruit the supervisory layer with the appropriate experience.
